Adopt Resolution 26-34 authorizing funding in the amount of $275,000 for Segment D and $475,000 for Segment E to acquire temporary easements.

PURPOSE
A secondary pipeline is needed to deliver treated water to the north and east regions of the District's service area from the Leonard Water Treatment Plant. Temporary easements are needed to construct a parallel pipeline to increase capacity of the system due to projected growth in the service area.
RECOMMENDATION
The Executive Director and NTMWD staff recommend the Board of Directors:
1) Authorize the Executive Director to execute a right-of-way acquisition program for the Leonard Treated Water Pipeline No.2, Segment D, Project No. 101-0684-26, with a budget of $275,000, and the Leonard Treated Water Pipeline No.2, Segment E, Project No. 101-0685-26, with a budget of $475,000; and,
2) Adopt Resolution No. 26-34, "A Resolution Authorizing the Use of Eminent Domain to Acquire Right-of-Way for the Leonard Treated Water Pipeline No.2, Segment D, Project No. 101-0684-26, and the Leonard Treated Water Pipeline No.2, Segment E, Project No. 101-0685-26, and Delegating Authority to Initiate Condemnation Proceedings to the NTMWD Executive Director."
