Authorize the execution of an Interlocal Cooperation Agreement between the North Texas Municipal Water District (NTMWD) and the City of Sherman.

PURPOSE
The City of Sherman (COS) plans to widen Shepherd Drive from two lanes to six to accommodate anticipated traffic to the new Texas Instruments Facility currently under construction. The COS project will require NTMWD's Lake Texoma 72-inch raw waterline to be lowered within the Shepherd Drive right-of-way. A fiber optic cable pull box located inside the proposed right-of-way will also be relocated.
RECOMMENDATION
The Executive Director and NTMWD staff recommend the Board of Directors authorize the Executive Director, NTMWD staff, and Saunders, Walsh & Beard, Attorneys and Counselors, recommend the Board of Directors authorize the Executive Director to execute an Interlocal Cooperation Agreement as follows:
1. Authorize the Executive Director to execute an Interlocal Cooperation Agreement with the City of Sherman.
2. Adopt Resolution No. 24-36, "A Resolution Authorizing the Executive Director to execute an Interlocal Cooperation Agreement between the North Texas Municipal Water District and the City of Sherman regarding the City's future Shepherd Drive Improvements Project in Sherman, Texas"
